Trinity Square Autumn Fair 2026 welcomed the season with local traders

Trinity Square celebrated the new season with our Autumn Fair on the 25th and 26th September. The two-day event saw the square bustling with shoppers, small, independent local traders and makers.

Visitors found a wide variety of handcrafted goods, treats and seasonal inspiration on offer.

Local craftsmanship and creativity were represented across the stalls:

• Homeware and handcrafted decor: Scented candles and diffusers from Chewius Candles, laser-engraved crafts and resin art from The Cheeky Chimp Craftshop, bespoke decorations from Anges Occassion Creations, and handmade crochet flowers from Crafted for Love.

• Fashion and accessories: Boutique ladies’ wear from Touch of Elegance, trend accessories and gift baskets from Jasmin Couture, press-on nail art from Niko Nails and handbag selections from JL Scents & Accessories.

• Specialty and wellbeing: Crystals from Gemini Gems 1111 and custom 3D creations from Zeus3D.

Gateshead-based Green Heart Collective were also on site offering upcycling inspiration, sharing details on their sewing lessons, upcycling workshops and preloved fashion collections designed to divert waste from landfills.

We love being able to showcase the vibrant independent trade community in the area, offering shoppers a unique opportunity to support more local businesses while stepping into the autumn season.
