Shopping and leisure complex Trinity Square in Gateshead is looking for up and coming local talent to perform at its award-winning Christmas Light Switch On.
The opportunity is part of a prize package which will be awarded to the winner of the centre’s Trinity’s Got Talent event which takes place on Saturday 11th September 2021.
Trinity’s Got Talent is in its third year this year and applications are being sought from singers, musicians, comedians, dancers, and magicians, young or old, who would like to take part.
The Christmas Light Switch On, which won a national award for best use of branded experiences and events in 2020, will take place on 18thNovember 2021. The show will be two and a half hours of entertainment for the whole family.
Centre Manager Tony Pickering said: “Our Christmas Light Switch On has been an annual event since the centre opened in 2013 and it has always been our approach to work with local talent. Each year the event is bigger and better than the last and even Covid didn’t stop us, we just took the event online. This year we are looking forward to bringing our live event back and the winner of Trinity’s Got Talent will play a key part in that event.”
