Trinity Square-based estate agent Carousel is celebrating a very special milestone this month.
Marking ten years in business in the heart of Gateshead town centre, staff commemorated the occasion with cake and champagne, toasting the last decade’s success and looking forward to the next.
Trinity Square officially opened in May 2013, and 11 months later, Carousel opened its doors in one of the new units on High Street in Gateshead. The business has more than doubled over the last decade and now employs five full-time staff members.
Carousel’s Managing Director, Liz Burn, is from Gateshead and has fond memories of visiting the old Trinity Square as a child. She said: “Setting up my business at Trinity Square felt like it was meant to be with my links and memories of the town centre growing up.”
Since 2017, Carousel has won awards annually in the prestigious British Property Awards, and Liz says these have been among her proudest moments over the last ten years. She said: “Winning the awards is a great achievement and recognition of the work that we do as it’s our clients who nominate us for them, based on the service they have received.”
Many of Carousel’s clients have been with the estate agent since it opened its doors in 2014, with the next generation of families now using it as their estate agent of choice.
Liz said, “We are a local estate agent that concentrates on providing a personal service with a personal touch. Our location in Trinity Square makes it easy for people to call in when they are out and about shopping.”
Carousel plans to expand in the future, but this weekend, it’s about celebrating the success of the last ten years.
