Visit Trinity Square on 17th August and be part of something amazing

On Friday 17th August, local charity the Charlie Cookson Foundation is launching a new fundraising initiative working with Your Charity Lottery.  This weekly lottery product is an opportunity to raise vital funds towards their work in providing financial support for parents caring 24/7 for their seriously ill children.

The Charlie Cookson Foundation (CCF), set up in 2013, provides financial support to parents of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions that require 24 hour nursing care or specialist nursing facilities. The Foundation works closely with hospital professionals to help establish and meet the needs of these families and campaigns to raise awareness of the difficulties they face. CCF is a not-for-profit charity and relies heavily on the generosity of the community to raise funds.  By playing the lottery you will provide regular and valuable income to help as many families as possible when they need it most.

The charity has supported 53 families since it was introduced. Families like Milo’s, pictured with his family. His mammy, Laura Davidson says: “The generosity and support from CCF has made what is a devastating and very difficult time much less stressful. The financial worry we were facing before was crippling but is now something we can put to the back of our minds and allows us to give our family the full attention they deserve.”

For just £1 per week per game number, you could help a family like Milo’s and be in with a chance to win one of 82 prizes on offer: a first prize of £1,000, 80 prizes of £10 and a rollover prize from £200 up to £10,000. It’s not to be missed! Feel good winning knowing that by playing the weekly lottery, you’re also making a difference within your local community.

Join online here or come and meet the lottery team in the Square on Friday 17th August from 10 am to 4 pm. See you there!
