Paying our respects

Trinity Square Gateshead will be holding a Service of Remembrance on Saturday 11th November 2017 to mark Armistice Day.

The service will start at 10.45am in the Square and will be lead by Revd Tom Worsley from Christ Church in Felling.   The Salvation Army Band will play during the service and the two-minute silence will be observed at 11am.

Shoppers, traders and visitors to Trinity Square are invited to join the service, pay their respects and mark the importance of the 11th hour, of the 11th day, in the 11th month of the calendar.

Crosses will be available throughout the day, for anyone who wishes to lay one in memory of family members or friends, lost in conflict.  A book of remembrance will also be open at Trinity Square from Friday 10th to Monday 13th November.

Lest we forget
